What are the main questions emerging from charities, advocacy groups and practitioners working with children in poverty? This seminar gave particular consideration to the insights provided by daily experience of child poverty with a view to highlighting new insights and pressing concerns.

Emily Echessa
Emily Echessa is a Senior Education Adviser at Save the Children UK, leading in Girls Education work. She has over 20 years’ experience working in Education and International Development. She holds an MA in Conflict, Security and Development.
Yumiko Yokozeki
Yumiko Yokozeki is a specialist in education. She started her career as a rural secondary school teacher and continued her work as an education specialist for UNICEF and JICA. Since 2015, she is the Director of UNESCO IICBA, based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. While her specialization remains in Africa and she has been to almost all African countries, she has working experiences in other regions.
